LPA over the Philippines, Western Pacific Weather Update / 11 FEB 2012

11 FEB 2012, A Low Pressure Area is bringing rainfall over the PI today, we have been watching this unorganized are of thunderstorms all week now and finally it has reached the PI coast bringing an abundant of rainfall. Flooding is likely along eastern portions of Visayas and Southern Luzon as the low moves on shore. Good news is it should remain fairly disorganized with a little to no chance of a significant storm developing out of this.

Elsewhere the Siberian High is producing cold weather across Eastern Asia. Snow is still being felt along western Japan as the ocean effect snow machine runs in full swing. At the end of this update is a quick slide show on some ice sculptures in Sapporo. Also if you check my JapanVentures Channel I will have more videos posted on the snow happenings of Hokkaido.
