Prapiroon continues to meander across the Philippine Sea and is maintaining that typhoon-intensity. It is forecast to slowly move northward in the next 24 hours and could pass between Okinawa and Daito Islands by Wednesday. It will then recurve and accelerate to the northeast by Thursday and Friday, passing south of the Mainland Japanese Islands.
