As it moves across the favorable regions of the West Pacific, Bopha is forecast to become a Typhoon as early as Friday. It is, then, forecast to move near the islands of Palau and Yap by Saturday and Sunday likely bringing strong winds and heavy rains in the region. As for the Philippines, uncertainties remain whether the system will indeed make landfall there. However, we urge everyone in the forecast track to continue closely monitoring the developments of this cyclone.
