Fujian Landslide
At least 41 have been killed or gone missing in Fujian Province South East China following a massive landslide Sunday.
Heavy rainfall associated with the rainy season front flooded the area this past weekend dropping over 400mm of precipitation according to satellite derived rain totals from NASA. Rescue workers today scramble to rescue those still trapped inside the ruble.
The weather is not helping though with more rain up to 100-150mm still expected in the forecast according to the China Met Agency.
The same storm will also track north bringing wide spread rainfall across Kyushu and western Honshu on Monday Evening through Tuesday. Prepare for the threat of flooding and landslides here.
