Tropical Storm Tokage / Marce continues to track across the Philippines today bringing wide spread rainfall across northern Visayas and southern Luzon.
Overall this storm is on the low end of the spectrum as far as Typhoon in the Philippines, but it still has dangers associated with it, most specifically the rainfall north of the storms center. This is where a band of precipitation has been pumping on shore and will continue to do so through Saturday bringing the threat of localized floods and landslides.
Travel via sea on ferries has also been effect with many of them shut down in Visayas.
These conditions are expected to continue in to the weekend even as the storm slowly tracks north along the west coast of Luzon while gradually weakening as cold air starts to plow in the storm from the north.
If you are being impacted by this storm or have any reports to share please let us know! Also I apologize for the quick update, a very busy day at the end of a very busy week for me. Please be sure to check Michael’s daily updates though, he has been doing a fantastic job posting them and being rather consistent daily.
