Developing Tropical System Near Guam

JTWC has upgraded the low-pressure area east of Guam to a Tropical Depression and expects it to become a tropical storm as the system passes just south of the island. Despite the Low-level center remaining offshore, the bulk of the convection will pass over Guam which means tropical storm conditions are possible on the island Tuesday into Wednesday.

For updates I would continue to check in with US National Weather Service Guam for the latest and greatest information. They run a pretty good social media program there.
