Weather Update: Monitoring Invest 91W
Another day, another watch on Invest 91W. The area remains somewhat disorganized, presenting a broad circulation – a noteworthy factor in our observations. Both the GFS and ECWMF models are now hinting at potential development into a tropical system, with the GFS taking a more assertive stance as of this post.
What does this mean? As of now, it’s a situation worth monitoring. While uncertainties persist, I can confidently highlight the likelihood of increased rainfall over the weekend for Mindanao and the southern half of the Philippines in general. This is attributed to the evolving low and an upcoming cold surge over the weekend, collaborating to generate a spectrum of windy conditions along the east coast.
Mid-week, anticipate rising rainfall for Yap and Palau as this pulse of energy traverses the Philippine Sea. It’s crucial to emphasize that this update is not intended to incite hype; rather, it serves as a reminder to stay informed and keep a watchful eye on developments.
